Google Earth breaks records with 1 billion downloads

Google has announced that its mapping software has just passed the one billion mark. The search engine has also created a website for this occasion. Available on PC, Mac and built-in Android and iOS, Google Earth lets you view the planet earth by displaying satellite images, aerial and other photographs. Google Earth is particularly useful for users who need to find a place on a map or who wish to have a three-dimensional view of buildings of a city.
