Design

Sculpted by Jonathan Ive1, the iMac has created a shock in the computer industry, highlighting the use of design in this area. First the aesthetics plays both on the round, warm colors, soft plastics and the color does not pass with time. Keyboard and mouse go with the color of the iMac, the keyboard is reduced to 88 keys, so as not to be wider than the screen.

Design in the full sense of the term aesthetics accompanying ergonomic features: one-piece format to facilitate the grip, carrying handle, vents for ventilation, location of the processor, power supply and graphics card (the main sources heat) selected on the motherboard to allow for optimum drainage (vertical) heat, and thus the removal of fans, the main source of noise in the last three versions. The connections are all located close at hand on the right side of the computer (when seen), so accessible to a right-handed: USB, Ethernet, modem, input and output sound and the addition of ports FireWire; front, two headphone jacks allow additional use of two educational software, for example, which adds a real note of conviviality to the use of this computer.
