Android 2.3.6 for Nexus S

According to our colleagues FrAndroid the Nexus S Google currently receives the update to 2.3.6 Android (GRK39F). As always, here's how to install it manually, if you are not patient enough to wait for the OTA maj.

1] from the dialer Type * # * # # * # 2432546 * while in WiFi preferably
2] If the update is not detected, here's the direct download link (Google servers)
3] Rename the archive update.zip or update, and place it in the root of your SD card
4] Start by holding the phone buttons simultaneously ON / OFF and Volume Down
5] is selected using the Recovery Volume keys and press the ON / OFF
6] The phone will restart in recovery
7] Press the ON / OFF and Volume Up at the same time
8] Click on: Apply zip from sd card - update.zip
9] Restart the machine ... (When installing the unit may restart repeatedly).
